I’m Mizdi Nell, a storyteller and illustrator. I write stories that are familiar to your child—about family, best friends, pets, and outdoor activities. My narratives and illustrations evoke wide-eyed wonder and joyful giggles, designed to spark your child’s imagination.

I generate my paintings on an iPad one brush stroke at a time using Procreate. Each watercolor takes one to four weeks to complete. You may wonder why digital? Years ago, I painted the watercolors and dried them under 50-pound weights, then photographed and scanned for digital reproduction. Despite that, the artwork always appeared warped. Yuk.

I write all my song lyrics and illustrate my animations, then use AI to polish the music, generate the voice-overs, and animate the characters to video.
